The biggest Christmas displays are usually in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, especially the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi which has the Guinness world record for the most expensive Christmas tree in the world – just the decorations itself cost millions of dollars! It is a wonderful sight to behold.

Christmas is not Christmas without the merry sounds of carols, magical musical shows and theatre performances – and the Dubai opera captures this in its true essence with different Christmas performances to give you a mystical experience.

December is also the time for The Dubai Shopping festival – one of the most awaited shopping and also one of the world’s biggest shopping extravaganzas.  The Christmas carnivals and markets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi capture the beauty of the season and you can shop around with the widest range of everything you can ever find.
