Eid Staycation 2023
Eid al-Fitr is a time for family reunions, prayer, and celebration. It is a time for individuals to thank God for the strength and endurance they received throughout Ramadan, as well as to seek forgiveness for any wrongdoings done throughout the year. This is a joyful and significant celebration that includes an array of festivities such as exchanging presents, dining on special dishes, and spending time with family and friends.
This year’s Eid was exceptionally wonderful for us as we chose to celebrate with our loved ones in a different manner. We decided to go on a fun family staycation, full of thrilling activities and excursions. We treasured every bit of our time together because it was nothing short of fantastic – doing everything from eating amazing food to discovering new sites.
During our staycation, we were able to participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities that brought us closer together as a group. Dune bashing in the golden and gorgeous sand dunes was one of the highlights of our trip, as we experienced heart-pumping thrills and healthy rivalry with each other.
We also spent a lot of time by the pool, relaxing and enjoying each other’s company while relishing in the warmth of the sun and the tranquil surroundings. We swapped tales, played games, and laughed together, building our relationships and making memories to last a lifetime. When it came to meals, we were served a delectable buffet that left us wanting more. There was something for everyone’s taste buds, from local delicacies to worldwide favourites. We ate well and spoke well, enjoying one other’s company and soaking in the casual and carefree attitude of our vacation.
This break was a beautiful way to end the month of Ramadan and truly celebrate the spirit of Eid, as it helped bring us closer to our loved ones, appreciate the love and kindness that we hold for one another and be grateful for all that we have. The staycation provided us with an excellent opportunity to reconnect with our family and friends, and we came home feeling revitalised and refreshed. We will cherish the memories we made at this celebration for the rest of our lives, and we can’t wait to plan our next family fun staycation very soon!
